Charge Before First Use
The DAB BAR ships with a partial charge. For best performance, charge fully before the first session. USB-C port is on the bottom of the device.
LED behaviour: pulsing = charging. Solid = full. No light during draw when battery is dead = needs charge.
Remove the Mouthpiece Cap
Pull off the silicone cap from the mouthpiece end. Keep it — replacing it between uses keeps the mouthpiece clean and prevents debris from entering the airway.
Prime the Coil
Before your first activated draw, take 2–3 gentle pulls without activating (just inhale gently without triggering the sensor). This wicks the Liquid Diamond extract into the coil and prevents a harsh or burnt first hit.
Inhale to Activate
No buttons. Inhale steadily through the mouthpiece. The draw sensor activates the heating element automatically. Best technique:
- 2–3 second slow, steady pull
- Moderate inhale pressure — not a sharp hard pull
- Wait 15–20 seconds between hits for the coil to cool
Recharge When Performance Drops
The DAB BAR 3.0 holds 2g of extract — many multiples of a standard disposable. You will likely need to recharge before the extract is finished. Signs the battery needs charging:
- Noticeably less vapour than before
- Weaker draw activation
- LED flashes but no heat
Recharging takes 30–60 minutes. Full charge restores full vapour production.
Storage
Keep at room temperature, upright or horizontal — either works for a sealed disposable. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or heat above 35°C. Extreme cold can temporarily thicken the oil and reduce draw activation.
Troubleshooting
Gurgling sound when inhaling
Excess condensation in the airway. Remove cap, hold upright, and take a sharp dry pull to clear the tube. Wipe the mouthpiece with a tissue.
Draw not activating
Battery likely needs charging. Connect USB-C and charge for 20 minutes, then retry. If LED doesn’t light at all, check the USB-C cable and port connection.
Weak vapour despite full charge
Try inhaling slightly harder to trigger the draw sensor more reliably. If no improvement, contact us via the Contact page.
Burnt taste
The extract may be nearly depleted. Check remaining oil level through the window (if visible). If oil is still present, wait 30 seconds between hits to let the coil recover.
DAB BAR vs Standard Disposables
Most disposable vapes hold 0.5–1g and cannot be recharged. The DAB BAR holds 2g and recharges via USB-C. This means one DAB BAR delivers the same volume as 2–4 standard disposables, with consistent performance throughout thanks to rechargeability. The Liquid Diamond extract inside is also a premium tier not found in budget disposables.
