What You Need
Dabwoods cartridges use the universal 510-thread connector. Any 510-thread battery works. Variable-voltage batteries give better control over flavour and vapor production.
Charge Your Battery
Fully charge before first use. Most 510 batteries use micro-USB or USB-C. Charge time is 45–90 minutes. Green LED = ready.
Attach the Cartridge
Thread clockwise onto the battery. Hand-tight only — overtightening damages the contact pin. The real wood mouthpiece faces up.
Authentic check: Real Dabwoods carts have a genuine wood mouthpiece with visible grain. Plastic mouthpiece = counterfeit.
Prime the Coil
Take 2–3 gentle dry pulls (no button press) before your first hit. This draws oil into the coil wick and prevents a harsh first draw.
Set the Right Voltage
Voltage directly affects flavour and vapour:

Inhale Technique
Slow, steady 2–3 second inhales produce the best vapour. Short sharp pulls waste oil. Button-activated: press and hold while inhaling. Draw-activated: just inhale.
Storage
Store upright at room temperature (15–25°C). Avoid direct sunlight and cold — cold thickens oil and can cause clogging. If a clog occurs, gentle warmth (holding in palm for 30 seconds) usually clears it.
Troubleshooting
Clogged airway
Warm the cart in your palm for 30 seconds. Take a slow dry pull without the battery. The clog usually clears on the first hit after warming.
Burnt taste
Voltage too high, or cart running low. Lower the voltage setting and prime with a dry pull before the next hit.
No vapour, battery activated
Check the connection: unthread, clean the contact pin with a dry cloth, reattach. Check battery charge level.
Cart leaking
Store upright. Horizontal storage lets oil pool and can cause leaks. If oil enters the battery thread, wipe clean with a cotton swab.
